At Bloom Beyond Enabling, we take this opportunity to honor one of the most cherished Emirati traditions—Haq Al Laila—a celebration deeply rooted in community spirit and childhood joy.

🍬 What is Haq Al Laila?

Celebrated on the 15th night of Sha’ban, Haq Al Laila marks the countdown to Ramadan. Traditionally, children dress in colorful attire and go door-to-door, singing joyful songs and collecting sweets, nuts, and small gifts in cloth bags known as khareetah. Their cheerful voices echo throughout neighborhoods, spreading delight and symbolizing the values of sharing, gratitude, and unity.
